The School of Chemical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology was established on July, 1956. The establishment was intended to fulfill the demand for highly competent professional chemical engineers in the nation's growing chemical process industries and to explore various fields of research in chemical engineering that would ultimately 148 undergraduates enrolling in engineering undergraduate programme on October, 15th, 1956.
Today, the School of Chemical Engineering is one of the leading institution in the country offering both undergraduate and graduate programmes in chemical engineering. Our student population are currently totalled to about 2000 undergraduates and more than 50 postgraduates. Since its founding, the School of Chemical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology has been graduating more than 15000 graduate engineers and 600 plus postgraduate holders. The school's growth reflects the excellence of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered and the expertise of its staff.
