Department of Chemical and Petro-chemical Process Equipment was founded in 1961, and started its first academic program since 1961 – 1962. The Department is the only address in Vietnam offering B.Eng., M.Sc., M.Eng. & PhD. programs of specialization in Chemical and Petro-chemical Process Equipment.
These programs equip students with wide and deep knowledge in engineering processes, design, manufacture and assembly of production lines in chemical and petroleum industry. Because of satisfying society’ demands, it is one of the three attractive specialities for most students in the School of Chemical Engineering. In fact, graduates of the speciality of Chemical and Petro-chemical Process Equipment have been working effectively in various positions in large corporations,e.g. Vietnam Machinery Erection Corporation ( LILAMA Corp.), Vietnam National Chemical Corporation (Vinachem Corp.), Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex), Vietnam Oil and Gas Groups (Petro vietnam), etc., and in other domestic & overseas enterprises
