EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Educational Philosophy: Solid, Comprehensive, Creative and Adaptive
We believe that the mission of the School of Chemical Engineering is to provide a solid foundation of knowledge with comprehensive professional skills, to create a free environment for students to be creative, to encourage students to continue learning to be adaptive to a changing world.
The 161–credit engineer’s program is applied from K62 to K64 (enrollment year from 2017 to 2019).
From K65 (enrollment year from 2020) and later, the total credit load of the engineer’s program is 180, equivalent to Level 7 in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework
Undergraduate Programs
Bachelor’s Program in Chemistry
The Bachelor's Program in Chemistry aims to provide a qualified workforce with the following qualities:

• Have fundamental, comprehensive, and specialized knowledge to work well in different areas of chemistry.

• Have essential professional and personal skills to be successful in scientific careers.

• Have the necessary social skills to work effectively in the environments of multidisciplinary and multinationals;

• Have the ability to startup;
-
• Have abilities to conceive ideas, to participate in designing and improving systems, to operate and to implement the exploitation of advanced technologies in the chemistry field;

• Have political and economic understanding;
-
• Have a basic knowledge of social sciences relevant to the major being trained to effectively contribute to the sustainable development of society, and have health meeting requirements for the development and defense of the fatherland.

Bachelor’s Program in Chemical Engineering
The Bachelor's Program in Chemical Engineering aims to provide a qualified workforce with the following qualities:

• Have core engineering knowledge, problem-solving skills and competencies to participate in designing, manufacturing and operating systems in the field of chemical engineering.

• Have professional and personal skills and attributes including lifelong learning and self-study abilities to pursue higher levels of education to get adapted to the ongoing scientific and technological development.

• Have communication, foreign language and teamwork skills to work in interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and multinational environments.

• Have abilities to conceive ideas, participate in designing, implementing and operating systems in enterprises and society.

Engineer’s Program in Chemical Engineering
The Engineer's Program in Chemical Engineering aims to provide a qualified workforce with the following qualities:
• Have an ability to apply underlying knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.
• Have core and advanced engineering knowledge;
• Have an ability to apply engineering knowledge, methods and tools to analyze and solve engineering problem in chemical engineering.
• Have a professional attitude, personal, communication, team-work, and multidisciplinary skills.
• Have the ability to conceive, design, implement and operate in chemical engineering and a specialized field.
