Brain pool program funded research scholar

We are actively recruiting a research scholar (Postdoctoral level or visiting professor level) who is interested in conducting research in the area of quantum dot solar cells or related nanotechnology. The position will be compensated at the prevailing rate of $30,000~$53,000 US Dollar per annum by Korean government Brain Pool Program ( The purpose of the program is to invite distinguished scientists or engineers overseas. This is a 1 year position that may be extended to multi-years based on mutual agreements. Our research is directed to the developing innovative optoelectronic devices using colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals (a.k.a quantum dots) and metallic nanostructures. Doctoral degree in Chemistry, Material/Chemical Engineering or related fields. An ideal candidate would be expected to conduct experiments, write research papers/proposals and manage development work performed by a team of graduate and undergraduate student researchers. Salary would be commensurate with qualifications. Position also includes benefits.
Annul salary range from $30,000 to $53,000 US Dollars / Campus Housing(3 bedroom family apartment) / Health Care / Round trip airline ticket (for the married : 2 ticket) / Moving expense up to $900 US Dollars based on location and contract period.
